What is “The Entrepreneurial Bug” and what Inspired you to write it?

Inspiration is a form of motivation and that is exactly what has fuelled my passion for writing a book. ‘The Entrepreneurial Bug’ seeks to identify the top ten common traits of successful entrepreneurs and deliver them in a way that is both relatable to and excitable to the reader.

As an aspiring young entrepreneur myself, I believe that in particular young people are often not encouraged enough to explore their entrepreneurial talent, which often leads to talents being wasted or indeed undiscovered.

By reading this book, the reader will dig deeper within themselves and question their genuine knowledge or awareness of entrepreneurship and how to get the best from what they want in life. It will create opportunities to analyse their life critically beyond the safety net or security of a job, whilst encouraging them to take action now rather than later. Taking action will be a key theme towards stepping in the right direction towards success.

What advice would you give to people searching to cure The Entrepreneurial Bug within themselves?
The Entrepreneurial Bug inside you is essentially an idea or feeling that you are fiding difficult to have an outlet for. Most people will never act upon an idea they have as they will fill their thoughts with the negative aspects that may arise, so by simple taking action, you will be ahead of most people. They mist important advice I wold give is to simply just get started, and things will unfold for you. Even if your attempts fail, use them as leverage for learning which will mive you closer to your big break!

Who are your Role Models?
I have a number of successful role models and mentors all of whom I look up to and admire. Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, James Caan, Stephen Covey, Richard Branson, Brad Sugars and many other are examples of my mentors from afar. My family and friends are my close mentors and sources of inspiration. Everybody sees different things in different people, so pick people that are right for you and are in line with what you want to achieve.

The idea is to hang out with successful entrepreneurs until you become one yourself. Surround yourself with the social networks of the people that you desire, so that you are able to move in the right direction and become a success yourself. How to Win Friends and Influence People – By Dale Carnegie is another brilliant book.
